That Thought

There's a thought lingering in my mind

and it won't go away.

it just sits,

Waiting.

day and night.

It's in my dreams.

it follows me wherever I go!

it won't go away.

But I can't take that chance

to risk everything that is good.

So I wait.

Not being controlled by the thought,

but for the right time to let it    go
