Forever I will keep their faces engraved

The sound of their voice 

The childish melody of their singing

The clutch of their hands

The embrace of their arms

The giggle in every laugh

The softness of each tear

The pound of every heartbeat resonates in my soul

A Humble Heart

The corrupted heart of man 

blackens the souls of the community

A lost soul comes to Christ 

Struggles continue, he finds strength in Christ

A child baptized today 

Made into a new creation through the Son

Blessed by the day

I wake up early in the morning, the sun is yet to rise. 

Everything is still but the gentle wind pushing through the palm trees 

and the waves softly rolling onto shore. 

The boats rock back and forth as the sun begins to take over the sky. 

Reminded of grace. 

Overwhelmed by love. 

Blessed by the day. 

A captive to creativity

Unreal beauty surrounds me, I am it's captive. 

My mind taken to places I could not conceive. 

I do not resist, for there is still more to see. 

But which is more beautiful? 

That which is seen? or that which is unseen? 

I surrender myself to the Creative. 

Fearless Love

En route to Belize 

excited and fearful 

Not fearful of risk or danger 

but fearful of my own lack of faith 

That my denial will hinder 

another's chance for love 

We must persist in fear 

Persist in our struggles 

Persist in love 

We must love with no fear
